Burglars broke into a flat at Dabolim in broad daylight and decamped with gold worth Rs 1.95 lakh.
According to reports, the burglars entered into the flat of Bhimarao Talavar (39) in Jasmine Enclave building, Dabolim. Talavar, a native of Bijapur and a mechanic by profession, informed police that the incident occurred sometime between 10.30 am and 2 pm.
Talavar said the burglars had forcibly broken open the main door of the flat and had stolen gold ornaments worth 1.95 lakh.
Vasco police later registered an offence under Sections 454, 380 of IPC and PSI Prajoti Dessai is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Nilesh Rane.
